And just like that, RoboThink's first year has ended in an amazing success! Within a year of operations, we have expanded our presence to over 10 locations in the US, 3 locations in China and 1 location in South Korea making us the fastest growing children's play franchise. We will also be opening new locations in Nigeria, South Africa and Panama in the latter half of 2017!
We truly believe that our success was due to our unique content, software and hardware. With this in mind, as we enter 2017, we will continue to invest heavily into our software, hardware and content projects to make sure that we are continuing to offer the most unique and best STEM education material in the market.
Next, we have some exciting new developments coming for the 2017 year:
Our hardware team has been hard at work in developing our new ultrasonic sensor. Our final CAD drawings are done and we are getting ready to iron out the last bugs and put the sensor into mass production. Also, they had this to say: ROBOTHINK DRONES ARE COMING SOON!
(Yes, that is actually a drone made out of RoboThink Pieces)
Our software team is hard at work on a revolutionary new update to our innovative coding software, RoCode. It's under wraps for now, but we will be announcing it at the 2017 RoboWorld Expo!
Our content development team is refreshing our existing coding workbooks with updated versions with better graphics designs, ease of use and more linear lesson plans. We are also working on developing more multi-media, specifically video and music media to help engage our younger engineers. We are also playing around with the idea of developing an app with our software team (if they weren't busy enough ;))
Our franchise development team has stated that: For 2017, we are on track to expand to over 30 locations in the US and 10 locations internationally.
Lastly, RoboThink's website has been updated to respond faster, with a more friendly and easy to use user interface, newer graphics and better SEO optimization. RoboThink's ThinkLink software has been updated to build version 2.0 with bug fixes and speed improvements galore.
It's been a busy, but fun packed and exciting first year for RoboThink. We hope that 2017 is just as busy, fun packed and exciting too!
